Shelley joins CIFOR from the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation and has more than 20 years’ experience in communications, international development and public health spanning the BBC, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and UNICEF. British born, Shelley graduated from the University of Glasgow with an MA in Political Science and studied Behavioral Change Communications in Emergencies (Polio and Ebola), from NYU.
