Robin McDowell is an American journalist with nearly two decades experience in Asia. She has worked for the Associated Press in Cambodia,Thailand and most recently, Indonesia. She also spent a year floating on a riverboat in the plush jungles of Borneo, home to 90 percent of the orangutans left in the wild, getting a first-hand look at the impact of palm oil expansion.
