Untuk memenuhi komitmen ini, inisiatif-inisiatif <a href=\"https:\/\/redd.unfccc.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Pengurangan Emisi dari Deforestasi dan Degradasi Hutan <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/redd.unfccc.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><em>(Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation, REDD+) <\/em><\/a>harus dilaksanakan dengan efektif dan memberikan hasil yang merata.<\/p>\n\n<p>Pemerintah telah mulai berfokus pada delapan upaya REDD+: 1) produksi pertanian berkelanjutan (tanpa deforestasi); 2) pengelolaan hutan lestari; 3) mitigasi dan adaptasi pada masyarakat adat, Andes dan pesisir; 4) pengelolaan hutan rakyat; 5) konservasi hutan di lingkungan masyarakat adat dan petani; 6) sertifikasi, pengawasan dan pemerintahan di masyarakat adat dan petani, dengan pemantauan masyarakat; 7) penguatan kawasan konservasi; dan 8) aforestasi, reboisasi, dan restorasi.<\/p>\n<p>Kami mencatat telah ada sekitar 35 inisiatif awal REDD+ di Amazon Peruvian sejak 2008, jadi, mengetahui dampak nyata dari beberapa inisiatif tersebut akan berguna untuk semua pemangku kepentingan, termasuk lembaga donor, praktisi, peserta, dan pemerintah. Dengan pertumbuhan cepat dari dampak krisis iklim, pengetahuan seperti ini sangat dibutuhkan untuk merancang upaya migitasi yang lebih efektif dan merata.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam <em>Infobrief, <\/em>yang juga diterbitkan dalam bahasa Spanyol, kami menganalisis evaluasi dari dua proyek di wilayah Madre de Dios dan Ucayali di Amazon Peru, yang telah menjadi bagian dalam <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.cifor.org\/gcs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Studi Komparatif Global tentang REDD+<\/a> yang dipimpin oleh CIFOR.<\/p>\n\n<p>Kami menemukan bahwa kedua proyek tersebut tidak memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap tutupan hutan atau pendapatan masyarakat yang tinggal di wilayah yang terlibat.
