{"id":78003,"date":"2022-06-22T11:03:11","date_gmt":"2022-06-22T04:03:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/?p=78003"},"modified":"2022-08-15T11:57:21","modified_gmt":"2022-08-15T04:57:21","slug":"landscape-partnership-asia-restoring-drylands-and-drought-prone-areas-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/id\/78003\/landscape-partnership-asia-restoring-drylands-and-drought-prone-areas-2","title":{"rendered":"Landscape Partnership Asia: Memulihkan Lahan Kering dan Daerah Rawan Kekeringan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Menteri <a href=\"https:\/\/english.forest.go.kr\/kfsweb\/kfs\/subIdx\/Index.do?mn=UENG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Korea Forest Service<\/a>, Choi Byeong Am, secara resmi meluncurkan <em>Landscape Partnership Asia<\/em>, program restorasi terbesar di dunia yang ditujukan bagi upaya restorasi hutan dan lahan di Asia pada Senin, 2 Mei 2022 di <a href=\"https:\/\/programme.wfc2021korea.org\/ko\/session\/63aa3831-db99-ec11-a22a-a04a5e7cd2d9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Kongres Kehutanan Dunia<\/a> di Seoul, Republik Korea.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLahan kering dan daerah rawan kekeringan bukan sekadar bentuk ekosistem, tetapi juga rumah bagi 2,5 miliar orang,\u201d katanya. \u201cSekitar 30% lahan kering dunia terletak di Asia dan sebagian besar membutuhkan tindakan restorasi. Hal ini bukan tidak mungkin untuk dicapai. Republik Korea telah memulihkan ekosistem hutan yang ada meskipun sempat mengalami masa-masa sulit. Ketika kegiatan reforestasi dimulai, PDB per kapita Korea Selatan bahkan tidak mencapai USD 500. Setelah Perang Korea, dari tahun 1973 hingga 1987, kami telah menanam lebih dari 10 miliar pohon. Tanpa teknologi dan sumber daya, kami mencapai kesuksesan dengan kemauan masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi, tanpa membedakan antara perempuan atau laki-laki. Negara-negara di Asia memiliki kondisi yang lebih baik daripada Korea saat itu, jadi saya sangat yakin jika Anda memiliki kemauan, Anda bisa melakukannya.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Robert Nasi, Direktur Pelaksana CIFOR-ICRAF, mencatat bahwa \u2018sejauh ini sebagian besar lahan kering terabaikan dari agenda restorasi dan iklim yang ada. Namun, tipe ekosistem ini menyimpan sejumlah besar keanekaragaman hayati dan karbon. Lahan kering Asia bahkan lebih terabaikan daripada lahan kering lainnya. Sumber daya lahan kering sangat penting bagi tanaman, produksi kayu, dan aktivitas peternakan, dan mata pencaharian jutaan orang. Namun, lahan kering termasuk di antara tipe ekosistem yang paling terdegradasi dan tidak tepat kelola. Hal ini membuat kehadiran <em>Landscape Partnership Asia<\/em> benar-benar relevan dan tepat waktu. Kami masih memiliki waktu untuk membalikkan keadaan meskipun tidak banyak.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Landscape Partnership Asia<\/em> merupakan platform multi pemangku kepentingan yang menerapkan investasi berbasis kinerja dalam restorasi lahan kering dan daerah rawan kekeringan di Asia melalui jaringan &#8216;keterlibatan&#8217; yang menerapkan teknik berbasis bukti. Investasi ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi dampak dari krisis iklim, membangun ketahanan hutan, padang rumput, lanskap pertanian, dan meningkatkan mata pencaharian.
