Agrosilvofishery merupakan model pengelolaan lahan yang mensinergikan aspek ekologi dan ekonomi – suatu konsep teknologi tradisional ramah lingkungan dengan menggabungkan usaha pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan.<\/p>\n

Kegiatan restorasi lahan basah, salah satunya di lahan gambut, saat ini banyak menggunakan pendekatan agrosilvofishery karena dinilai sesuai dengan pola pengusahaan lahan yang sudah ada. Artinya, masyarakat tidak perlu lagi belajar teknologi baru karena gabungan budi daya pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan ini sebenarnya sudah ada sejak dulu. Masyarakat lokal sudah terbiasa memanfaatkan pola ini, seperti pola fluktuasi musiman genangan air tanpa intervensi drainase di lahan gambut.<\/p>\n
