{"id":62612,"date":"2019-10-25T11:23:24","date_gmt":"2019-10-25T04:23:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/?p=62612"},"modified":"2019-10-28T10:27:00","modified_gmt":"2019-10-28T03:27:00","slug":"sebagai-serangga-penyerbuk-kelelawar-berperan-penting-dalam-produksi-durian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/id\/62612\/sebagai-serangga-penyerbuk-kelelawar-berperan-penting-dalam-produksi-durian","title":{"rendered":"Sebagai serangga penyerbuk, kelelawar berperan penting dalam produksi durian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sebagai penyerbuk utama dari buah durian, kelelawar memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap perekonomian lokal di pulau Sulawesi menurut <a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/full\/10.1111\/btp.12712\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">studi riset baru.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Aktivitas mamalia nokturnal dapat menentukan apakah produksi buah akan berhasil atau tidak, menunjukkan kebutuhan vital untuk melindungi kelelawar, kata para peneliti dari <a href=\"https:\/\/wec.ifas.ufl.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Universitas Florida,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/indonesia.wcs.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Indonesia<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amnh.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Museum Sejarah Alam Amerika<\/a> dan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalmuseum.gov.ph\/#page=page-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Museum Nasional Sejarah Alam Filipina<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia merupakan produsen utama durian di Asia Tenggara dengan nilai ekspor hampir $ 255 juta pada 2013, data dari para peneliti. Namun karena kuota produksi selama ini belum stabil diperlukan upaya lebih menemukan metode tepat agar produksi durian dapat meningkat.<\/p>\n<p>Para peneliti ingin mempelajari lebih lanjut bagaimana cara meningkatkan nilai durian semi-liar (<em>Durio zibethinus)<\/em> dalam sistem agroforestri sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai tanaman komersial bagi petani skala kecil.<\/p>\n\n<p>Melalui perangkap kamera yang dipasang di pohon durian di desa Batetangnga antara Oktober 2017 hingga 2018, para peneliti mengamati tiga spesies kelelawar buah Sulawesi (<em>Acerodon celebensis<\/em>), kelelawar subuh (<em>Eonycteris spelaea<\/em>) dan rubah terbang hitam (<em>fPteropus alecto<\/em>) &#8211; berinteraksi dengan bunga durian, yang terbuka dan reseptif di malam hari.<\/p>\n<p>Meskipun ada penyerbuk lainnya, termasuk burung dan lebah, yang mengunjungi pohon durian, kelelawar tinggal paling lama, paling sedikit merusak bunga dan dianggap oleh para peneliti telah memindahkan cukup banyak serbuk sari untuk menghasilkan buah.<\/p>\n<p>Para peneliti memperkirakan nilai durian 117 dolar AS (sekitar 1.6400.000 rupiah) per hektar per musim yang dihasilkan dari penyerbukan kelelawar untuk 1.500 ton buah di Batetangnga, Sulawesi Barat. Sekitar 1,5 juta durian dihargai $ 450.000 (6,3 miliar rupiah Indonesia).<\/p>\n\n<p>Mempromosikan durian alami (organik) di dalam negeri dan luar negeri dapat meningkatkan harga durian dan mengurangi defisit perdagangan tanpa harus mengubah hutan menjadi lahan produksi pertanian, kata para peneliti.<\/p>\n<p>Studi ini menawarkan banyak bukti bahwa peningkatan konservasi kelelawar memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas durian di Indonesia untuk memenuhi permintaan domestik yang tinggi.<\/p>\n<p>Saat ini, kelelawar berada dalam ancaman karena daging kelelawar dapat dijual di pasar lokal.
