{"id":5681,"date":"2011-12-04T09:56:57","date_gmt":"2011-12-04T09:56:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/?p=5681"},"modified":"2015-12-14T13:44:05","modified_gmt":"2015-12-14T06:44:05","slug":"cifor-keluarkan-peta-baru-tentang-gambaran-global-proyek-proyek-redd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/id\/5681\/cifor-keluarkan-peta-baru-tentang-gambaran-global-proyek-proyek-redd","title":{"rendered":"CIFOR keluarkan peta baru tentang gambaran global proyek-proyek REDD+"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DURBAN, Afrika Selatan (3 Desember, 2011)_ Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) mengeluarkan peta baru berisi + gambaran global REDD+, dilengkapi perangkat interaktif akan ringkasan global tentang bagaimana negara-negara kaya hutan membangun kebijakan dan proyeknya guna mengurangi emisi dari deforestasi dan degradasi hutan.<\/p>\n<p>Peta tersebut (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.forestclimatechange.org\/redd-map\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">silakan unduh di sini<\/a>) merupakan salah satu hasil penelitian CIFOR, yang  memadukan hasil penelitian dengan data REDD+ sehingga didapatkan suatu ringkasan lengkap  akan pelaksanaan 340 program REDD+ di 52 negara di dunia.<\/p>\n<p>Diluncurkan saat bersamaan dengan perundingan Iklim UN di Durban dan acara CIFOR <em>,\u2019REDD unfolding on the ground? An exploration of the social, political, and biophysical issues\u2019, <\/em>peta ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi akan kemajuan yang telah ada, hasil proses belajar kemajuan persiapan kegiatan serta lokasi-lokasi proyek REDD+ untuk departemen terkait di pemerintahan negara, pembuat kebijakan dan  para spesialis  perancang pelaksana program REDD+. \u201cKami tidak membuat ulang situs REDD+ dan portal berisi informasi detil tentang proyek-proyek REDD. Sebaliknya kami ingin memberikan gambaran tentang  situasi global yang tengah terjadi dan gambaran negara-negara yang sudah membuat kemajuan dan yang tertinggal ,\u201d kata William Sunderlin,  peneliti utama dan ketua penelitian studi komparatif global (Global Comparative Study) CIFOR tentang REDD+ (GCS-REDD).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeta ini memungkinkan pengguna mendapatkan ringkasan cepat akan lokasi  proyek REDD+ baik tingkat nasional dan propinsi termasuk beberapa situs REDD+ yang baru saja diumumkan pada publik.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dengan dana investasi milyaran ditujukan bagi perlindungan hutan-hutan di dunia,  perlu dipastikan dan penting bagi negara-negara berkembang yang saat ini sedang berada di tahap pertama program kesiapan REDD+ bahwa program-program REDD+  dapat dilaksanakan secara adil, efisien dan efektif.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKami berharap peta ini dapat berfungsi sebagai jejaring bagi negara-negara pelaksana REDD+  agar dapat memberikan informasi detil tentang kemajuan proyek, juga berbagi pengalaman akan apa yang boleh dan tidak boleh dilaksanakan dalam REDD+. Juga harapan akan adanya peluang penelitian baru sehingga CIFOR dan institusi lainnya dapat mengidentifikasi kesenjangan yang perlu dijembatani,\u201d kata Mrigesh Kshatriya, peneliti rekanan di program Forests and Livelihoods CIFOR.<\/p>\n<p>Pengunjung situs dapat memilih negara tertentu dan melihat sebaran proyek-proyek REDD+ di negara bagian atau propinsi tertentu. Bila ingin mendapatkan informasi detil dapat melihat hasil riset dan publikasi di situs CIFOR, sekaligus melihat tautan ke situs-situs lain seperti REDD-Desk atau Forest Carbon Portal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPada akhirnya kami ingin mendorong negara-negara untuk turut menyusun gambaran tentang apa yang terjadi di belahan dunia lain. Hal ini penting guna menunjukkan bahwa perubahan iklim merupakan masalah global sehingga perlu kita lihat terjadinya lokasi aksi \u2013aksi terjadi di dunia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>GCS-REDD adalah satu dari studi komparatif  pertama di dunia tentang pelaksanaan REDD+ (pengurangan emisi dari deforestasi dan degradasi hutan) di dunia.
