Struktur khas ini menunjukkan sebuah tempat yang merupakan tabu adat \u2013 dan tongkat adalah bagian dari hukuman tradisional bagi pelanggarnya.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Sasi\u201d adalah nama sebuah teknik pengelolaan sumber daya alam adat yang menegakkan pemanenan secara rotasional di provinsi Maluku, Indonesia. Ketika sebuah areal hutan, atau bahkan sebuah pohon, termasuk \u2018sasi\u2019, ini berarti ada pembatasan untuk pemanenan hingga seseorang yang menandainya datang dan mengambil tanda tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Teknik kuno ini memastikan kelestarian pasokan produksi hutan semisal kakao, resin, kopi, dan buah-buahan, dengan memberi waktu bagi tanaman untuk memulihkan diri dari pemanenan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDi masa lalu, hukuman bagi pelanggar \u2018sasi\u2019 adalah satu pukulan dengan tongkat untuk pelanggaran pertama, 10 kemudian dan 100 setelahnya,\u201d kata Sony.<\/p>\n<p>Namun di banyak kasus, yang kemudian terlihat, simbol bagi struktur itu sendiri \u2013 bersamaan dengan denda yang dikeluarkan oleh pemimpin masyarakat \u2013 yang cukup mempan untuk mencegah mereka melakukan kesalahan.<\/p>\n<div style=\"aspect-ratio:16\/9;min-height:unset;\" class=\"wp-block-cover alignfull has-parallax has-custom-content-position is-position-bottom-center has-aspect-ratio\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-cover__image-background wp-image-53797 size-full has-parallax\" style=\"background-position:50% 50%;\n\t\t\t\tbackground-image:url(https:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/36827444556_4248648958_c.jpg)\">\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-cover-is-layout-flow\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-base-color has-text-color has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-c7274f9a76ff948295c72066c2502b23\">Tanda untuk &#039;sasi gereja&#039; - menjaga pohon kakao dari pencuri.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<p><strong>TANDA SILANG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tabu \u2018Sasi\u2019 tidak hanya berlaku dalam kekuatan mitos dan legenda lokal saja, namun dalam ketertiban beragama pula. Teknik ini telah diadaptasikan dalam agama Katolik yang menjadi mayoritas di provinsi Maluku.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTerdapat beberapa jenis \u2018sasi\u2019 yang berbeda \u2013 \u2018sasi adat\u2019, \u2018sasi gereja\u2019, kata Latu Pieter, mantan \u2018Raja\/Kepala Desa\u2019 adat dari Honitetu.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Sasi Gereja\u2019 menjadi berkah bagi gereja lokal dan untuk jemaatnya, adalah wujud ketakutan akan Tuhan. Melanggar \u2018sasi gereja\u2019 itu berarti melakukan dosa, dan beragam cerita terkait ketidakberuntungan yang misterius yang dialami pelanggar sebagai konsekuensinya.<\/p>\n<p>Tanda buatan tangan menunjukkan sebuah peringatan untuk menjauh, ditandai dengan tanda salib. Diadaptasi untuk merubah kondisi legal, bentang alam dan kepercayaan, hal ini telah menjaga kekuatannya dalam imajinasi lokal, seiring dengan hasilnya untuk pengelolaan hutan yang lestari.<\/p>\n<p>Sejalan dengan berlanjutnya <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/53754\/hutan-adalah-milik-masyarakat?fnl=id\"><u>proses panjang reformasi tenurial<\/u><\/a> di Indonesia, hukum adat \u2013 yang dikenal dengan <em>adat<\/em> \u2013 semakin mendapatkan pengakuan dalam pembuatan kebijakan nasional maupun subnasional.<\/p>\n<p>Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ini tidak hanya memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dalam keadilan dan kesetaraan, namun juga kelestarian.<\/p>\n<p>Di Maluku, penghormatan untuk hak adat \u2013 dengan kerangka kerja tata kelola yang baik dan pengambil keputusan kolaboratif \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cifor.org\/publications\/pdf_files\/infobrief\/6555-infobrief.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><u>dinyatakan sebagai skenario yang diinginkan<\/u> <\/a>untuk jaminan tenurial bagi masyarakat lokal.<\/p>\n<div class='short-quote'>\n\t\t\t<blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t<p><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<footer>\n\t\t\t\t\t<cite title='Source Title'><\/cite>\n\t\t\t\t<\/footer>\n\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<p>\u201cDi Indonesia, Maluku dikenal dengan komitmen kuatnya pada hukum adat,\u201d kata peneliti Nining Liswanti, yang merupakan koordinator Indonesia untuk  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cifor.org\/gcs-tenure\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Studi Komparatif Global tentang Reformasi Tenurial Hutan<\/a> yang dipimpin oleh <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cifor.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Pusat Penelitian Kehutnan Internasional (CIFOR). <\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeluruh hutan di Maluku telah diklaim di bawah kepemilikan adat dan telah diakui, setidaknya secara <em>de facto<\/em>, oleh pemerintah provinsi, distrik dan lokal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dengan berlimpahnya bukti dari preferensi lokal terkait pengelolaan adat, sejalan dengan keefektifannya, masyarakat sekarang tengah mempersiapkan diprosesnya hal ini agar memperoleh pengakuan secara legal oleh pemerintah.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKami ingin melihat jika sistem adat ini dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam sistem formal, jika tidak bisa dalam konteks kepemilikan lahan, setidaknya pada hak masyarakat untuk mengelola dan mengambil manfaat dari hutan,\u201d terang Liswanti.<\/p>\n<p><em>Diproduksi secara kolaboratif bersama dengan Aris Sanjaya (video), Ulet Ifansasti (fotografi), Aini Naimmah (transkripsi), Budhy Kristanty (produksi) dan masyarakat Desa Honitetu, Maluku, Indonesia.  <\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ketika Sony Parakate melihat seperangkat tongkat bambu berdiri tegak di dalam hutan, dengan salah satu sisi yang menggantung di sisi bayangannya, dia paham untuk menjauh.
