Kebutuhan ini disuarakan oleh banyak pemimpin yang menghadiri <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cifor.org\/event\/eat-asia-pacific-food-forum-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"color: #24a2b8;\">Forum Pangan Asia-Pasifik EAT<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\"> di Jakarta, Indonesia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; margin: 11.25pt 0cm 15.0pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"color: #333333;\">Lebih dari 500 peserta dari 30 negara hadir pada Forum tanggal 30-31 Oktober untuk mendiskusikan kemajuan penelitian pangan mutakhir, selain gagasan bagaimana mentransformasi sistem pangan di Indonesia dan wilayah Asia-Pasifik.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; margin: 11.25pt 0cm 15.0pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"color: #333333;\">Dalam pidato pembukaannya, Wakil Presiden Jusuf Kalla mengingatkan, \u201cpangan dapat memicu masalah politik apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik.\u201d Ia berharap Forum EAT dapat mencapai pemahaman bersama <span lang=\"EN-US\"> antar aktor<\/span> melalui <span lang=\"EN-US\">berbagai sektor pembangunan<\/span> kerjasama internasional.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; margin: 11.25pt 0cm 15.0pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"color: #333333;\">Setelah terus menurun selama lebih dari satu dekade, kelaparan global meningkat lagi, menurut <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fao.org\/3\/a-I7695e.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"color: #24a2b8;\">laporan PBB<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\"> terbaru, kelaparan dirasakan 11 persen populasi dunia. Stordalen pada pidato pembukaan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; margin: 11.25pt 0cm 15.0pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"color: #333333;\">\u201cKita membutuhkan politisi tangguh, bekerjasama lintas kementerian dalam mengembangkan kebijakan komprehensif yang mengaitkan produksi dan konsumsi pangan. Kita membutuhkan sektor swasta, dari pengusaha multinasional hingga lokal, untuk menciptakan produk, jasa dan model bisnis lestari yang baru,\u201d tambahnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; margin: 11.25pt 0cm 15.0pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"color: #333333;\">Menteri Keuangan Sri Mulyani Indrawati, menyatakan, \u201cKeamanan pangan menjadi isu penting sejalan dengan pesatnya pertumbuhan populasi global.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; margin: 11.25pt 0cm 15.0pt 0cm;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"color: #333333;\">\u201cKeamanan pangan, keamanan energi dan suplai air menjadi faktor kunci bagi banyak aktivitas ekonomi di dunia. Penyempurnaan teknologi dan inovasi pasti akan menciptakan peluang dan meningkatkan produktivitas, sekaligus juga tantangan,\u201d katanya. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ilmuwan Terry Sunderland dari <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cifor.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Pusat Penelitian Kehutanan Internasional<\/a> (CIFOR) mengapresiasi Forum EAT atas keberhasilannya mengumpulkan sejumlah pemangku kepentingan sektor pangan, termasuk politisi tingkat tinggi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMembuat politisi mengakui keterbatasan sistem pangan saat ini menjadi awal yang baik. Meskipun sistem pangan tidak akan berubah dalam semalam, namun acara di Jakarta telah membangkitkan kesadaran.
