Apakah efektif menahan laju kerusakan hutan?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Menjelang pelaksanaan UU nomor 23 tahun 2014 tentang alih kewenangan pengelolaan kehutanan dari pemerintah kabupaten ke pemerintah provinsi, kebingungan atas siapa bertanggung jawab terhadap apa di lapangan masih menimbulkan keresahan di daerah.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmad Maryudi, ketua departemen manajemen hutan, fakultas kehutanan universitas Gadjah Mada menerangkan pendapatnya tentang pentingnya untuk tidak menyamaratakan kondisi dan situasi di tiap-tiap daerah. Termasuk opini tentang hal-hal apa saja yang perlu menjadi pertimbangan  dalam pelaksanaan pengelolaan hutan setelah UU 23\/2014 ditetapkan.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/40978\/benarkah-hutan-tanaman-industri-dapat-membantu-konservasi-hutan?fnl=id\">Benarkah hutan tanaman industri membantu konservasi hutan?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Titik awalnya terdengar cukup masuk akal: dengan menanam pepohonan yang semakin banyak untuk dikelola secara intensif guna mencapai produktivitas lebih tinggi, kita dapat memproduksi cukup kayu untuk mengamankan hutan alam yang masih tersisa. Dengan perkataan lain, dengan mengganti kayu yang berasal dari hutan dengan kayu yang diproduksi dari perkebunan.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk menguji teori ini lebih jauh, kami meninjau bukti dalam suatu  <a href=\"\/\/www.cifor.org\/library\/5929\/do-timber-plantations-contribute-to-forest-conservation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">studi<\/a> yang dipublikasikan baru-baru ini.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/40246\/menjawab-tantangan-upaya-nyata-redd-di-indonesia?fnl=id\">Menjawab tantangan REDD+ di Indonesia<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Setelah REDD+ disepakati pada <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/39224\/kesepakatan-paris-meski-tidak-sempurna-tapi-ini-pencapaian-terbaik?fnl=id\">Konferensi Iklim Paris,<\/a> Indonesia melangkah cepat inisiatif ini diterapkan sepenuhnya di lapangan.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Murdiyarso, ilmuwan utama <a href=\"\/\/www.cifor.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Pusat Penelitian Kehutanan Internasional (CIFOR)<\/a>, menyatakan bahwa tantangan masa depan REDD+ adalah seputar tenurial, berupa <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/29029\/menghitung-mundur-konferensi-paris-10-isu-iklim-terkait-hutan-dan-tata-guna-lahan?fnl=id\">tenurial lahan<\/a>, tenurial pohon dan tenurial karbon yang perlu diatasi. \u201cJika seseorang mengelola lahan, menanam pohon dan memelihara lahan gambut yang bukan miliknya tetapi memberi jasa lingkungan, bagaimana kita dapat mengakui peran dan memberikan penghargaan (atas tindakan) tersebut.
