Di antara mereka yang telah mengemukakan pemahaman tentang inisiatif REDD+, keterlibatan lokal secara aktual rendah: 27 persen dari responden telah terlibat dalam perancangan awal atau implementasi, meskipun keterlibatan ini termasuk sekadar menghadiri pertemuan, dan sebagian besar bersifat pasif.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HARAPAN DAN KETAKUTAN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Para peneliti CIFOR juga menanyakan berbagai ketakutan dan kecemasan utama tentang inisiatif REDD+ setempat. Harapan yang paling umum berfokus pada pendapatan dan peningkatan kesejahteraan, yang tecermin dalam berbagai kegiatan perbaikan penghidupan yang telah menjadi intervensi pusat dari banyak inisiatif ini.
