{"id":2397,"date":"2011-04-09T03:51:24","date_gmt":"2011-04-09T03:51:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/?p=2397"},"modified":"2015-09-14T16:22:11","modified_gmt":"2015-09-14T09:22:11","slug":"informasi-sederhana-dan-bahasa-mudah-kunci-penyebaran-hasil-penelitian-di-media","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/id\/2397\/informasi-sederhana-dan-bahasa-mudah-kunci-penyebaran-hasil-penelitian-di-media","title":{"rendered":"Informasi sederhana dan bahasa mudah, kunci penyebaran hasil penelitian di media"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_2407\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2407\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2407\" title=\"Jurnalis mendengarkan presentasi dalam pelatihan penulisan mengenai REDD+ dan lahan basah\" src=\"\/\/www.forestsnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/bali-conference-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2407\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jurnalis mendengarkan presentasi dalam pelatihan penulisan mengenai REDD+ dan lahan basah<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>BALI, Indonesia (10 April, 2011)_Penyampaian informasi sederhana dan dalam bahasa yang mudah dari ilmuwan kepada wartawan merupakan faktor penting untuk membantu mereka membuat pilihan-pilihan cerita yang bisa mendekatkan hasil penelitian ilmiah dengan keseharian masyarakat.<\/p>\n<p>Setelah mendengarkan presentasi tentang peran lahan basah dalam kehidupan manusia dan perubahan iklim dengan data yang cukup komprehensif, salah satu partisipan pelatihan jurnalis yang diselenggarakan oleh CIFOR, bekerja sama dengan Society of Environmental Indonesian Journalists (SIEJ) dan Internews, bertanya-tanya bagaimana memilih satu data yang dapat menarik pembaca dan menerjemahkannya ke kehidupan sehari-hari.<\/p>\n<p>Hal ini merupakan salah satu topik pelatihan wartawan mengenai REDD+ dan peran lahan basah ini diselenggarakan di Bali pada tanggal 9-11 April dengan diikuti oleh 17 peserta dari media massa nasional dan daerah.<\/p>\n<p>Keengganan wartawan meliput berita penelitian salah satunya berasal dari kesulitan untuk mendapatkan narasumber yang bersedia menerangkan istilah-istilah teknis dan menjadikan hasil penelitian sesuatu yang konkret. Di sisi lain, peneliti yang terlatih untuk berbicara berdasarkan data merasa kesulitan untuk menyederhanakan terlalu jauh hasil studi mereka.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWartawan sering meminta jawaban yang pasti, sementara ilmuwan meneliti untuk mencari seberapa pasti atau tidak pastinya sesuatu,\u201d kata Louis Verchot, peneliti senior perubahan iklim dari CIFOR. Anggapan umum bahwa ilmuwan pasti mempunyai jawaban untuk pertanyaan wartawan belum tentu benar.<\/p>\n<p>Akibatnya, hasil penelitian teronggok berdebu di perpustakaan. \u201cBanyak informasi tersedia, namun pembaca tidak ada,\u201d kata Bayu Subekti, seorang peserta pelatihan dari tim komunikasi Kementerian Kehutanan. Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Perubahan Iklim dan Kebijakan sering kesulitan menyampaikan data hasil penelitian dalam bahasa populer, tuturnya.<\/p>\n<p>Ada beberapa cara untuk menyiasati hal ini. Islaminur Pempasa dari harian Pikiran Rakyat, misalnya, mengambil detail kecil, misalnya yang berhubungan dengan manusia, dari laporan studi untuk dijadikan ilustrasi kesimpulan hasil penelitian. \u201cKita hanya perlu melakukan beberapa wawancara tambahan, jika perlu, untuk mendapatkan satu berita panjang yang lengkap,\u201d kata Islaminur, yang biasa dipanggil Ipe.<\/p>\n<p>Salah satu usaha lain untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan membuka komunikasi antara kedua belah pihak. Dengan adanya kerja sama yang baik dan tumbuhnya rasa percaya, ilmuwan tidak perlu segan atau takut dikutip menjadi narasumber, sebaliknya wartawan merasa terbantu karena dapat memahami hasil penelitian dan pengaruhnya pada kebijakan serta yakin akan mendapatkan berita dari sumber terpercaya.<\/p>\n<p>Hasilnya, informasi ilmiah di media massa dapat tersebar lebih luas, perhatian terhadap hasil penelitian meningkat dan ilmuwan senang karena studi mereka membawa manfaat untuk masyarakat luas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BALI, Indonesia (10 April, 2011)_Penyampaian informasi sederhana dan dalam bahasa yang mudah dari ilmuwan kepada wartawan merupakan faktor penting untuk membantu mereka membuat pilihan-pilihan cerita yang bisa mendekatkan hasil penelitian ilmiah dengan keseharian masyarakat.
