Dengan luas sekitar 3,21 juta hektare, Indonesia menjadi rumah bagi sekitar 20\u201323 persen mangrove dunia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Namun, mangrove bukan hanya benteng alami yang melindungi pesisir. Ekosistem ini juga merupakan aset ekonomi yang sangat bernilai. Penelitian Landscape Alliance di Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan, memperkirakan Total Economic Value (TEV) mangrove mencapai sekitar USD 14.700 per hektare per tahun. Nilai tersebut berasal dari berbagai manfaat, mulai dari perikanan, perlindungan pantai, penyimpanan karbon, keanekaragaman hayati, rekreasi, hingga peran krusialnya dalam adaptasi terhadap perubahan iklim dan jasa ekosistem lainnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lalu, bagaimana sebenarnya nilai ekonomi mangrove dihitung? Mengapa konservasi mangrove dapat menjadi investasi yang menguntungkan bagi masyarakat dan negara?
