Kabar hutan<\/a> merupakan salah satu situs daring berita kehutanan terdepan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situs yang dibangun pada tahun 2010 ini telah menjadi sumber berita bagi pembuat kebijakan, wartawan, pelajar, praktisi pembangunan, pemerhati lingkungan, akademisi dan masyarakat umum yang peduli dengan kebijakan dan praktik-praktik yang mempengaruhi kelestarian hutan dan kehidupan manusia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dikelola oleh Pusat Penelitian Kehutanan Internasional (CIFOR<\/a>), sebuah lembaga riset ilmiah nirlaba dan bagian dari Pusat Penelitian CGIAR<\/a>, Kabar Hutan menampilkan temuan riset dan wawasan terbaru dari lapangan melalui paket berita multimedia, seraya tetap menerapkan komitmen akan akurasi ilmiah, prinsip dan aturan-aturan jurnalistik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berawal dengan jumlah kunjungan pembaca 200 per halaman per bulan di tahun 2011, hingga saat ini Kabar Hutan telah berhasil meningkatkan angka rata-rata kunjungan menjadi sekitar 50.000 per halaman perbulan yang diakses oleh pengunjung di lebih dari 230 negara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
