Jeremy van Loon was team leader of outreach and engagement at CIFOR and GLF from 2018 to 2021. He was born Ontario, Canada. With a BA from the University of Victoria, Canada, and MSc in environmental management from SOAS, University of London, Jeremy has worked as a policy advisor to the environment minister in the Canadian province of Alberta, bureau chief for Bloomberg News as well as more than a decade as a journalist in Germany.
