Il est devenu au fil des ann\u00e9es un document de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au niveau r\u00e9gional et international, pour tous ceux qui s\u2019int\u00e9ressent \u00e0 la gestion des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes forestiers d\u2019Afrique centrale, leur r\u00f4le dans l\u2019\u00e9quilibre de la plan\u00e8te et les enjeux qui orientent leur avenir.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab L\u2019EdF 2021 a vu l\u2019implication de 152 auteurs mobilis\u00e9s parmi les experts des questions foresti\u00e8res du bassin du Congo. Ces auteurs sont issus des institutions de recherche, des partenaires techniques et financiers, des organisations internationales, des organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, des acteurs de d\u00e9veloppement, des acteurs \u00e9tatiques et des chercheurs ind\u00e9pendants \u00bb,<\/em> pr\u00e9cise Richard Eba\u2019a, Coordonnateur du CIFOR en Afrique centrale, et \u00e9diteur principal dudit rapport.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab Ce rapport est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 un r\u00e9pertoire de donn\u00e9es tangibles sur les for\u00eats du bassin du Congo, et vise \u00e0 aider les d\u00e9cideurs des Etats d&rsquo;Afrique centrale dans les prises de d\u00e9cisions relatives \u00e0 la gestion foresti\u00e8re \u00bb,<\/em> pr\u00e9cise Herv\u00e9 Martial Maidou, secr\u00e9taire ex\u00e9cutif de la COMIFAC. Philippe Mayaux de l\u2019Union Europ\u00e9enne ajoutera que <em>\u00ab le rapport sur l\u2019\u00e9tat des for\u00eats et l\u2019OFAC sont des cr\u00e9ations uniques qui font la fiert\u00e9 de l\u2019Afrique centrale \u00bb<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Cette ann\u00e9e, le rapport \u00c9tat des For\u00eats d\u2019Afrique centrale est le septi\u00e8me d\u2019une s\u00e9rie publi\u00e9e depuis 2005. A travers treize chapitres, il met en perspective les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes forestiers d\u2019Afrique centrale et leur environnement de gestion.
