This whole system of wetlands is influenced by the effects of the event on the child reaching extended over 120 times its size (200 km in length) and 25-km-wide being temporarily, in the second largest lake in South America (after Titicaca). This site is important for wildlife and to nearby communities that develop small-scale fishing. The Napique lagoon by its location in the center of the desert and surrounded by algarrobales, becomes a refuge for wildlife and an important point for migratory species, besides are sources of resources and culture of local communities. Due to its location in the Piura coastal marine area and conditions biogeographic in an ecosystem that is vulnerable to climate change. R\u00e9concilier les ambitions mondiales pour le climat avec celles pour le d\u00e9veloppement pourrait aussi \u00eatre mieux coordonn\u00e9. C&rsquo;est dans ce contexte que le second <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.landscapes.org\/glf-2014\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">Forum mondial pour les paysages<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"> (Global Landscape Forum, GLF) se tiendra \u00e0 Lima les 6 et 7 d\u00e9cembre. Pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 de concert avec le <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.peru.gob.pe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">Gouvernement du P\u00e9rou<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"> et coordonn\u00e9 avec ses partenaires, le <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unep.org\/french\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">PNUE<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"> et la <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fao.org\/home\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">FAO<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">, le Forum sera un rassemblement bas\u00e9 sur la science qui rivalisera avec toute conf\u00e9rence similaire organis\u00e9e ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Avec les 91 (!) institutions qui dirigeront les sessions et les lancements de recherches au GLF, nous partagerons la vision que des paysages en bonne sant\u00e9 sont une partie cruciale des solutions pour le climat et le d\u00e9veloppement, et nous partagerons la mission d&rsquo;\u00e9changer des connaissances et des exp\u00e9riences au-del\u00e0 des r\u00e9gions, des disciplines, des \u00e9chelles et des secteurs.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span lang=\"fr-FR\">Ce que j&rsquo;esp\u00e8re du <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">[Forum] de cette ann\u00e9e \u2013 et qui est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 le fil rouge de l&rsquo;ensemble du programme \u2013 c&rsquo;est que nous nous interrogions sur le \u00abcomment?\u00bb<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">Le GLF fa\u00e7onnera des processus politiques de haut niveau, en particulier la <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/unfccc.int\/portal_francophone\/items\/3072.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">CCNUCC<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"> et le <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><span lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/sustainabledevelopment.un.org\/post2015.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">programme pour le d\u00e9veloppement post-2015<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\"> men\u00e9s par l&rsquo;Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Nations Unies. Mais j&rsquo;esp\u00e8re que le Forum inspirera aussi des actions pratiques au niveau des exploitations agricoles, des communaut\u00e9s, des provinces et des pays. Under his leadership, CIFOR updated its strategy in 2016, emphasizing the role of forestry in achieving each of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Dr. Holmgren has a PhD in Forestry and 26 years of experience in international forestry and agriculture. Prior to CIFOR, Dr. Holmgren worked at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), where he led FAO\u2019s work on climate change and its contributions to the UNFCCC process. While at FAO he also coordinated the Global Forest Resources Assessment, played a leading role in establishing the UN-REDD program and led the development of the Climate Smart Agriculture concept. Dr. Holmgren is credited for leading the dialogue to enhance and broaden the role of forestry in the Global Development Agenda to address the major challenges of our time: poverty, food security, climate change and green economy.
