Isaac Rutenberg is Senior Scientist at Landscape Alliance, an international science research institution based in Nairobi, Kenya, where he works at the intersection of emerging technologies, agriculture, biodiversity, and climate change. He has 20+ years of experience supporting innovation and innovators across sectors and geographies. He is also an Associate Professor of ICT Policy and Innovation at Strathmore University in Nairobi, where he founded the Center for Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law (CIPIT) and served as its first Director from 2012-2022. Prof. Rutenberg is a registered attorney in California and holds a PhD in Chemistry from Caltech and a JD (law degree) from Santa Clara University.
